Eunkyung Jeong

     EunKyung Jeong was born and raised in Korea. She received her BFA in Fiber Arts from Dong-A University in Pusan, Korea. She moved to the United States in 1993 to pursue freedom in her artistic expression. During her first journey along the Hudson River in New York, she fell in love with the local area and decided to pursue her MFA in Sculpture and BA in Art History from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Throughout her formal art education, she has explored media old and new, including digital printing. Currently, Ms. Jeong is teaching Studio Art classes at the State University of New York at New Paltz. She is an active participant in many international and local exhibitions. She received grants from the National Park Service/United States Department of the Interior for the ,Eleanor Roosevelt Val-Kill Cottage Preservation Project sponsored by the Save America's Treasures Program.
